flat & rooms started in Bombay in the winter of 2022, after a friend spent three months trying to find a one-bedroom near Marine Lines. The listings were filled with stale photographs and prices that vanished on the call.
We thought the problem was the volume. So we made the opposite of a big-listings site — fewer entries, all visited, all described in our own words, all photographed by us. Sixty-two of them, today.
We don't take a brokerage from the buyer. Our owners pay a small listing fee for the visit, the photographs, and the index entry. That's the entire business model.
